In spring 2007 samsilverstein.com witnessed a long overdue redesign. Incorporating branding and photography developed for NoMoreExcuses, the site took on bold and eye catching design to sell the professional speaking of Sam Silverstein and provide visitors with various resources.

This project marked a significant personal goal as I left Dreamweaver to write CSS and XHTML (more or less) by hand. I see increasing value in clean code that separates style from structure and was thoroughly pleased to confirm my expanded skill set. My trust and confidence in my own web development abilities expanded greatly over the course of the project.

The site itself provides several interesting features. It presents important information about Sam as a speaker, as well as numerous articles. Perhaps my favorite section though is the “Real Excuses” page we developed as a repository of the best ideas on how to dodge work and responsibility. Take a look around the site for yourself
